This is a series of images from a personal Day in the Life I documented of my own family on a lazy Sunday in the spring of 2016.

This was the first time I shot through a whole day as a family and didn’t follow someone else’s formula of what a “correct” DITL was. It was a long day of capturing all of the gestures and moments that caught my eye and communicated what it truly felt like for us as a family during that time of our lives.

It’s important for me to photograph the intimacy and vulnerability of my life as a mother of four growing children as a way to combat the isolation and connect with other families across the world.
