We could not be more excited to introduce to you Nancy Borowick, who will be joining us for the final live-streamed judging of this current round of the Documentary Family Awards.

Nancy Borowick is an internationally renowned photographer, author, teacher and speaker. Working regularly with the New York Times since 2013, Nancy has told stories of health, struggle and personal relationships from all corners of the globe.
Her book The Family Imprint is an intimate story of life and love, as her parents underwent parallel treatments for stage-four cancer. There is no one more qualified than Nancy to join the discussion about documentary family photography.
Nancy has been the recipient of a World Press Photo Award, Pictures of the Year International and the 2018 Humanitarian Award from Women That Soar. Her work has been featured in National Geographic, Time Magazine, CNN, PDN, O the Oprah Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Audubon Magazine, Glamour Magazine, and has been exhibited in over 100 cities around the world.

Nancy’s open and compassionate nature has allowed her to gain the trust of her subjects and share the stories of their lives. We are thrilled to have her join us this spring for the live judging process, where she will contribute her thoughtful insight about the photographs submitted by you.
