Mom left me on July 10th, 2020, close to turning 106. In May 2019 I asked her to find all the photos that portrayed her or father. I chose some of them, converted them digitally and reviewed them according to my feelings. I have added them to the many photos of her that I have taken in over 50 years of life together and most importantly to the photos from the last few years.
The older man on the picture is the already passed away grandfather of my wife who is also seen on the reflection in the left corner. The older woman in the reflection is the grandmother of my wife and she is holding our baby.

The lady portrayed in this photo is my maternal grandmother. Her name is Nair, she is 93 years old and is my only grandparent alive.
This months photo digest contains a rich variety of documentary series, with the common theme of uncovering the humanity of the people photographed.
